repackaging sanitary napkins for the indian market

Menstruation is a taboo in India. Moreover, when you buy a packet
of sanitary napkins it is wrapped in a newspaper or in a black bag.
This is because of the shame associated with the topic.

My idea was to redesign the packaging in such a way that it looks
like a newspaper from the outside while also serving a larger purpose.
The newspaper print will contain information about sanitary
hygiene and helpline numbers for women. The paper is designed bi-lingual with pictographic instructions at the back to help reach a larger rural audience.
